Passport Scanning System
Our cleint has approched us to develop a passport scanning and recognition system for their checkpoint system. The system had to extract relevant information from a person's passport and check their clearance level when trying to enter a building.

Overview
To ensure that only the people with the right clearance can access the buildings, we had to develop a system that would:
- extract the relevant data from a passport
- access the database and check if the person is cleared to enter
We based the application on ABBYY Passport Reader SDK that scans a passport and extracts relevant information with a high accuracy.
The data is then compared to the data stored on the company's portal to check if a visitor has crearance to enter a particular building. In case the clearance is not granted, the system notifies the security service.
