Migration of SharePoint 2010 workflows to Power Automate
Our SharePoint team has migrated complex workflows based on SharePoint 2010 to Power Automate while improving the processes and adding new functionality.

Overview
Due to Microsoft removing the ability to run or create SharePoint 2010 workflows from existing SharePoint Online tenants, our client asked us to migrate their SharePoint 2010 workflows to Power Automate.
Our team has performed an analysis of the existing workflows to determine the most optimal way of migrating them as SharePoint Designer and Power Automate are not fully compatible.
The workflows performed the following actions:
- granting access rights to a document based on the user’s role
- approval of document edits
- notifications about a planned document review date
