New Website for Electrical Equipment Company
In November 2017, Businessware Technologies unveiled a brand-new website for a division of a large international corporation with headquarter in Tokyo, Japan. The division is responsible for the production of industrial electrical equipment.
Overview
We had considered Umbraco CMS as a potential engine for the website development, although we had not previously worked with this CMS. Finally, the customer's interest in Umbraco usage approached us to make the choice.
Advantages of Umbraco:
- Free .Net core
- Possibility of .Net plug-ins usage
- Extensive customization capabilities
- A large library of already implemented modules and an active developers community
The task was not easy, because we had no Umbraco expertise, but the deadlines were rather harshly set. Of course, we stepped on a bunch of rakes and had to remake a lot on the fly. However, in the end, we met the deadlines, the necessary requirements were implemented and the client representative was trained.
We are now looking forward to the start of the second phase, which will include the additional functionality.
