Data Scraper For Online Marketplaces
Overview
We have developed an online marketplace scraper for a client whose main goal is to find shops worth investing in or buying within the marketplace. With thousands of shops and vendors present within the marketplace, the task needed to be automated.
The scraper we have developed is a powerful tool for collecting and filtering data according to our client's pre-established criteria. It goes through various product categories and collects data on all shops which meet the criteria, like shop rating, average product cost, shop location, and more, and adds the relevant data into a MySQL database.
The tool incorporates proxies and user agent switching to avoid getting a ban on the platform and ensure continuous operation, as well as automatic Captcha solving.
